SlickTrip AI: Terms and Privacy

How Sky works, what it keeps, and the choices you have.

This page explains SlickTrip AI in plain words. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which apply in full and govern if anything here reads differently.

1. You are talking to an AI

Sky, the assistant in SlickTrip AI, is an artificial intelligence, not a person. It is built on Claude, a model made by Anthropic, and uses SlickTrip's own tools to look up live prices and to set up price watches for you.

Sky can make mistakes. Prices, availability and schedules change all the time, and a price Sky shows may be different by the time you book. Always check the price on the seller's site before you book. We don't sell tickets or rooms: booking happens with the airline, hotel or travel site you choose.

2. What we keep, and for how long

  • Your conversations (what you write and what Sky answers): kept until you delete them. You can delete any conversation from the list of chats, and deleting your account deletes them all.
  • Voice: when you talk to Sky, your microphone audio goes from your browser straight to OpenAI, which turns it into text and reads Sky's answers aloud. We never receive or store your audio; the words you said are kept as part of the conversation, like typed messages.
  • Feedback you leave on answers or through the Feedback button: kept until you delete your account.
  • Reviewing conversations: our team may read conversations and the feedback on them to find mistakes and make Sky better. If you'd rather we didn't use yours that way, tell us at info@slicktrip.com.
  • Memory: kept until you change it, forget it, or delete your account (see below). A copy is also kept in your browser so Memory opens quickly.

3. Memory

Memory is what SlickTrip knows about how you travel: the airports you fly from, who travels with you, the cabin you book, how long your trips are, the months you travel, the airlines you prefer and roughly what you spend. We put it together from your price watches, how you use SlickTrip, your requests through SlickTrip in ChatGPT or Claude, and what you tell Sky. Sky uses it so you don't have to repeat yourself and to suggest trips that fit you.

You can see all of it in Memory, correct any of it, hide what you don't want used, forget everything at once, or turn Memory off. Memory is never used to change the prices you see or to make decisions with legal or similar effects on you. If you are in the EU or UK and you object to Memory, turn it off on the Memory page or tell us at info@slicktrip.com and we'll stop building it for you.

Please don't share health, religious or other sensitive details with Sky unless you need to for your trip.

4. Who helps us run it

  • Anthropic, which provides the model that writes Sky's answers.
  • OpenAI, which turns speech into text and text into speech in voice mode.
  • Amazon Web Services, which hosts SlickTrip and stores its data in the United States.

They process data on our behalf to provide the service. Anthropic and OpenAI don't train their models on your conversations, and keep what they process only for a limited time, usually up to 30 days, to watch for misuse. If you are outside the United States, your data is transferred there; see our Privacy Policy for how we protect it. Analytics and advertising tools on SlickTrip are covered by the Privacy Policy and, in the EU and UK, only run if you accept cookies.

5. Your choices

  • Delete a conversation at any time from your list of chats.
  • Edit, hide or forget anything in Memory, or turn Memory off.
  • Delete your account at any time: it removes your conversations, Memory and price watches.
  • If you are in the EU or UK, you have further rights, explained in section 9 of our Privacy Policy, including the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commission).

6. Using SlickTrip AI

You must be 18 or older to use SlickTrip AI. Sky's answers are information to help you plan, not professional advice. Please don't use SlickTrip AI to break the law, to harm others, or to run automated or bulk searches. We may limit how many answers each person gets a day, and we may change or pause SlickTrip AI. Our Terms of Service apply to SlickTrip AI like the rest of SlickTrip.
