About St. Thomas Carnival
The biggest event on the St. Thomas calendar: J'ouvert at sunrise, free Village Nights and two parades through Charlotte Amalie.
St. Thomas Carnival fills Charlotte Amalie with a Boat Race, Panorama, free nightly Village Nights, a Food Fair and a sunrise J'ouvert street dance. It ends with the Children's Parade and the Adults' Parade, where thousands of masqueraders in costume dance a two-mile route and fireworks close the festival. Dates sit in late April and early May. Flights and rooms fill early, so book well ahead.
