About Three Kings Day (Dia de Reyes)
On January 6, Puerto Rico closes the holidays with Dia de Reyes, when the three kings bring the gifts and children leave out grass.
In Puerto Rican tradition the three kings, not Santa, bring the gifts. On the night of January 5, children leave a box of fresh grass under the bed for the kings' camels and wake to small presents. For many families it matters as much as Christmas Day. Expect family gatherings and local events across the island.
