In 2026, the Yarra Valley Floral Day Pass, available on select midweek dates, cost $50 per adult. It covered both this festival and CherryHill Orchards' Blossom Festival (a ten-minute drive away), plus a tractor ride through the tulip fields and a cherry Spritz.

Dutch immigrants Cees and Johanna Tesselaar arrived in Melbourne in 1939 and began growing tulips, gladioli and daffodils. People started stopping to admire their fields, and in 1954 the Tesselaars opened the farm to the public, asking for a coin donation for the Australian Red Cross. The festival was cancelled in 2020 for the first time, because of COVID-19 lockdown rules.

Over a million spring flowers on a Dutch-founded farm in the Dandenong Ranges, with a new themed weekend every few days.
Tulips fill a working flower farm in the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne each spring, in September and October. The 2026 festival added themed weekends (Turkish, Dutch and Irish), a jazz weekend and a rock weekend. Parking is free on site and bus 663 stops at the farm. The catch is that the same farm runs a separate flower festival, KaBloom, in March and April.
