About Feria de Tlaxcala
Mexico's long-running state fair in Tlaxcala runs from late October into November, with a palenque, a people's theater and Day of the Dead.
The Feria de Tlaxcala is the biggest fair in the city and the state, running from late October around Day of the Dead into November. It mixes cultural, craft, commercial, livestock and industrial exhibits with shows at the Teatro del Pueblo and the Palenque. For 2026 the governor said the fairgrounds were rebuilt, with a new palenque for 5,800 people. Dates, headliners and the grounds can change from year to year.
Know before you go
- The palenque has been rebuilt, so check where shows are held for your year.
- Free concerts are a draw, and tickets for them have been resold online.
- Tlaxcala has no major airport of its own, so most visitors fly to Puebla (PBC) or Mexico City (MEX) and continue by road.
