Find your next bucket list trip. Let SlickTrip watch the fares.
You see a mountain ridge in autumn, a sky full of hot-air balloons, or a landscape covered in flowers. You think, “I would love to go there,” then save the idea for another day.
What if your next step was to start watching the cost of getting there? The new SlickTrip Events page brings together events and seasonal experiences with suggested dates and destination airports already selected. It gives your bucket list ideas a practical next step: choose an experience, review the trip details, and use “Watch these fares” to set up a fare watch. (See an event’s fare-watch setup)
The point is not to book a trip the moment a picture catches your eye. It is to move from “maybe someday” toward a trip whose flight prices you can follow.
Start with a reason to go
The collection includes more than ticketed events: you can browse ideas such as northern lights in Tromsø, tulip season in Holland, the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, and autumn leaves in Kyoto. Filters let you explore by region and interests including nature, wildlife, festivals, food and drink, music, and sport. (Explore the collection)
You do not have to begin by knowing which airport to type into a flight search. Start with the experience that interests you, then review the suggested trip before deciding what you want to watch.
Think of it as a bridge between travel inspiration and price tracking. You choose the reason for the trip; the next step is to make the travel settings fit you.
Review the trip that comes with the idea
Opening an event gives you a starting setup rather than a blank flight-search form. The detail page provides “Change” controls for the departure location, destination, travel window, number of nights, and travelers and cabin. (Event detail page)
Take “Autumn on the Seceda ridge,” for example. Its setup shows Bolzano, Verona, and Innsbruck as destination options, alongside a suggested travel window and a stay of three to six nights.
You are not limited to watching one exact departure date and one arrival airport. Review the suggested airports, travel window, and length of stay so the watch reflects the options you would actually consider.
Those settings are a starting point, not a finished itinerary. Before you start watching, check what would actually work for your trip:
- Departure: Make sure the departure location is yours.
- Destination: Review the suggested arrival options and plan how you would get from an airport to the experience.
- Travel window: Choose dates you could use, including time to arrive before anything you do not want to miss.
- Stay length: Set a range of nights that fits your plans.
- Travelers and cabin: Check that the request reflects who is going and how you want to travel.
A photo can give you the reason to go. Reviewing these details turns that reason into a more useful fare watch.
Watch the fares without committing to the trip
When the settings look right, select “Watch these fares” and follow the on-screen steps. The Events page describes emailing you when a watched fare drops, with the dates, price, and a booking link. (How the event watch works)
That leaves you free to consider the trip without purchasing a ticket immediately. You can decide whether a later fare fits your budget and plans, rather than treating the first price you see as your only opportunity.
The value is knowing when a watched fare changes, not a promise to find the lowest fare across other booking sites. That distinction is central to how SlickTrip’s price tracking differs from price comparison.
Treat a fare watch as monitoring, not a reservation or a guarantee that prices will fall. Before purchasing, check the current fare and booking conditions with the seller.
Keep the experience and the flight in the same plan
Read the “Know before you go” section before committing to the trip. In the Seceda example, it flags practical considerations such as checking cable-car operating dates and thinking through the onward journey from your arrival airport.
Use the suggested travel window as a starting point, then confirm the event’s actual schedule and any admission requirements with its organizer. For a seasonal experience, check local conditions and access information before committing to travel.
Keep tickets, accommodation, and onward transportation on your planning list, too. Watching a flight price is one part of arranging the trip, not a replacement for the other details.
Your bucket list does not have to stay a collection of saved pictures. Explore SlickTrip Events, choose an experience, review the settings, and select “Watch these fares.” Let SlickTrip do the monitoring while you decide whether to make the trip.
