History of Taste of the MarshWalk

The first Taste of the MarshWalk was held in February 2014 with sample dishes from seven restaurants. Chefs said most MarshWalk restaurants have access to seafood that comes right up the creek.

About Taste of the MarshWalk

A late-winter weekend of seafood samples, live music and crafts along the Murrells Inlet waterfront.

Restaurants on the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk serve sample dishes of locally caught seafood over a weekend. The day also has live music, vendors and children's activities. The first one was held in 2014, and the 11th was in February 2025. Dates are announced each year, usually for a late February weekend.
