Sedona Hummingbird Festival schedule

• Friday and Saturday: The festival closes at 5 pm.
• Saturday: Kids Day activities run from 10 am to 2 pm at Hummingbird Central.
• Sunday: The Plant Sale starts at 9 am and runs until sellout or noon, whichever comes first. The festival closes at 4 pm.
• All three days: Speaker presentations (14 different talks), hummingbird garden tours, banding demonstrations and birding field trips.

Getting to Sedona Hummingbird Festival

• Hummingbird Central is at the Sedona Performing Arts Center, 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road. For activities inside Sedona city limits, the local door-to-door transit system, Sedona Shuttle Connect, is an option.
• Most of the gardens are reachable only by the hop-on, hop-off shuttle. Meet at the Sedona Performing Arts Center parking lot 20 minutes before your tour, and be ready to carpool because parking is limited.

History of Sedona Hummingbird Festival

The International Hummingbird Society presents the festival. The 2026 edition was billed as the 13th annual. As many as eight hummingbird species can be found in the Sedona area during the festival.

About Sedona Hummingbird Festival

Three days of hummingbird talks, banding, garden tours and free feeders against Sedona's red rocks.

The Sedona Hummingbird Festival is presented by the International Hummingbird Society. Hummingbird Central at the Sedona Performing Arts Center has dozens of birds at the feeders, a marketplace, kids' activities and a plant sale, all free. Talks, banding demonstrations and garden tours need tickets.
