The Mini Medaram Jatara runs from February 17 to 20, 2027, as announced by the temple trust committee.
The state government officially organizes the biennial Medaram Jatara. Temple priests conduct the mini-Jatara, or Manda Melige, in the intervening year at the request of devotees.
It is held at Medaram village, Tadvai Mandal, in Mulugu district, Telangana, within the Eturnagaram Reserve Forest.
The Jatara lasts four days. It is held once in two years and begins with the goddesses arriving at Medaram and ends with their entry into the forest.
The official site says the Jathara draws over 1.5 to 1.75 crore devotees.
The rituals are conducted entirely by Koya tribe priests, in accordance with Koya customs and traditions.

One of Asia's largest tribal pilgrimages, held in a forest hamlet in Telangana, with a smaller mini-Jatara in the years between.
The Sammakka Saralamma Jatara honors two tribal goddesses at Medaram, a forest village in Mulugu district. The big Maha Jatara runs every two years for four days and draws millions of devotees, who offer jaggery to the goddesses. In the years between, temple priests hold a smaller Mini Medaram Jatara, which is what takes place in 2027. The village is remote, so crowds and transport are the main thing to plan around.
