History of Holland Festival

The Holland Festival was founded in 1947. Artistic innovation and experimentation have been its key values since then. It has shown productions that could not have been staged in the Netherlands otherwise, such as aus LICHT by Karlheinz Stockhausen in 2019 and The Head & The Load by William Kentridge in 2019.
