Getting to Donauinselfest
- Don't take a car. Take the subway to Donauinsel, Neue Donau or Handelskai stations.
- The Donauinsel station is on the U1 line through the city center. Use the U6 line for Handelskai or Neue Donau. Trains usually run at very short intervals into the night during the festival.
- The WienMobil bike rental system may have temporary stations at the main entrance to Handelskai and at the Floridsdorfer Bridge and Reichsbridge.

In 2026 it had around 200 acts on 14 stages and some 700 hours of programming, and it draws over 2.5 million visits. Pop, rock, electronic music and more share the island with food stands and activities. Take the subway, not a car.
