Two nights of free live music from 100-plus Austin bands across the Red River Cultural District's walkable venues.
Free Week is the Red River Cultural District's annual no-cover festival in early January. Venues along Red River Street open their doors for local bands across indie, punk, metal, country, Latin and more. Most venues are within walking distance, so you can hop between shows. Arrive early for a band you really want, since rooms can hit capacity.
