Adelaide Motorsport Festival schedule

• Saturday and Sunday, February 28 and March 1, 2026: In 2026 gates opened at 8:20am ACDT and closed at 6pm.
• On track: A different category of vehicles takes to the track every 10 to 15 minutes, on a section of the Adelaide Grand Prix circuit.
• Street party night: The festival rolls into Gouger Street for its annual Street Party. The night begins with the Peak Hour of Power, a parade of exotic, wild and rare vehicles that runs from Victoria Park into the city.
• Off track: Kids can try simulators, Scalextric tracks and radio controlled car racing, and trackside villas offer premium viewing and catering.

History of Adelaide Motorsport Festival

At the 2025 festival, Grand Prix winners Damon Hill and Thierry Boutsen returned to Adelaide, where each won an Australian Grand Prix, and drove grand prix cars again. Hill drove the 1992 Brabham BT60B Judd and Boutsen the Benetton B190 Ford that won in 1990.

About Adelaide Motorsport Festival

Historic and modern racing cars on a section of the old Adelaide Grand Prix circuit in the city parklands.

The festival is a museum in motion in Victoria Park, with a different category of vehicles on track every 10 to 15 minutes and a picnic races feel off track. A Friday night street party on Gouger Street begins with the Peak Hour of Power parade of exotic and rare cars. It is held in the week before the Australian Grand Prix, and the 2027 dates were still to be confirmed.
